Rain - Wheeeeeee

Another rainy day makes me say "yay!" Yesterday's didn't kick in 'til we were climbing up the rocks to view the several hundred year old Chumash cave paintings outside Sta Barbie. It got better and better as we scrambled over more moss-covered rocks and along the stream, then started pouring in earnest as we ate lunch at Cold Springs Tavern, the wonderful spot what's been serving travelers on the olde Wells Fargo Stagecoach Route since 1886. Good chili sampler. One yumbly one had venison, rabbit & buffalo, whilst the others (standard Texas and Chili Colorado) also rocked. Topped it off w/a stroll down State Street (downtown SB), checking out good stuff at Spirit's Path and eating veggie faire at the place next door. A wonderful day: wildflowers, rain and a bit of retail therapy - much needed before work begins again.
