Yes. Much of that for many across the country. I hope you have air conditioning, or at least a room you can flee to for coldth. School started here already -- a travesty! We're down to two seasons it seems. Keep Cool!

Thankfully the upstairs guestroom has a window AC unit and the final houseguest leaves here Friday morning, so it'll once again be available as a retreat from the heat which starts in earnest Friday and continues through the weekend. If'n it still looks bad come Monday (forecasts differ at the moment), we may flee to the coast for the day on Monday. (Too crowded over the weekend.) Hope you folks keep cool, too. (You probably have AC since heat's an ongoing issue there.)

That strikes me as an early school start! Some teachers have gone back to school hereabouts, but I don't think students return until next week at the earliest.

Ugh. It's hot here, too. It' supposed to last a full week, although mellowing somewhat as the days progress. Going Coastal come Monday for a day trip. Hope you folks can keep cool!
