Cold Sunny Week in December

I'm just loving this bright and sunny and cold week in Portland. Lots of short days, hot soup, burning candles, x-mas decorations & music, and smiles. So glad to spend both Thanksgiving and x-mas here. Cannot remember the last time I did that. Travels will kick back in again come January, but that's next year. For now I can enjoy being here.

Been bright and cold here too. Unusually so. We've discovered that in our new place, we must be on the edge of a weather zone because the house is typically 6-10 degrees warmer than weather where we work some 30 minutes away. It's fascinating!

Yay home for the holidays. I hope time at home is good and restful, and yay for zoomies later. :-)
