D-Land (Sat 9/10/05) Log

Rather than head all the way down to San Diego on Sat, we made a mini-excursion to D-land instead:

Drinks & lunch in D'town D'ney
Monorail to O'morrowland (FAR shorter lines for bomb search & entrance)
D'land Railroad Train ride through the Grand Canyon (now & Back Then) to Main Street
Over to CA Adventure (far too many folks in D'land on a Saturday!)
Ice Cream
Jebediah Jones & Miner '49s (damn fine ole Americana band we've heard before)
Big Orange Swings
Tram back to Mickey & Friends

THEN we cont'd south to Escondido to pick up the rest of the posse (cadre?) and blaze North to change and eventually show up at Fetish b-day party, AFTER stopping for an emergency gas stop (floating on fumes through South Central) near USC. I buttoned up my blazer and got out to pump, leaving the others in the outfits oh so hard to explain to the policeman who was in the parking lot with us in the car covered up w/sweatshirts/whatever was available.

Next trip: D&D on Fri, 9/23/05 (unless the urge hits 'tween now and then - and I ain't saying it won't!)
