Prepping for Pitched Bird Battle ??

mlerulesJust now the seagulls began their "MINE" screeching in earnest. The murder o' crows have massed in the nearby tree. Several times of late I've wondered when these two different bird groups will start the rumble. (Will it be Tonight?!) For now it's simply the build up. Seagulls as Jets; crows as Sharks.

lupabitch's visit. Crawled into bed shortly after she left, utterly exhausticated. That was around 10:30pm. Woke up (several times in the night and then) to the alarm at 6:30am. Got up, performed my morning ablutions, headed out chez jaylake. After enjoying an early lunch of homemade fried apple pie and miso butterscotch Twinkies, along w/yumbolicious ramen at Boke Bowl, I cruised home, shifted laundry from drier to top of guest bed and from washer to drier, then collapsed into a nap-heap on the bed, only to resurface around 3:30pm into the grey, damp day.
Now feeling distinctly fuzzy-headed, as if wet sheep have staked out my skull as their preferred pasture. Next up: gonna make a pot (and sip cuppas) of hot tea, continue the laundry process, and take care of some other stuff 'n' things... Dunno whether I'll bus 'n' walk over to OMSI/After Dark for Curds & Nerds this evening after all.
