A Sunny Solstice

And lo, the sun's decided to come out 'n' shine some on us here in Portlandtown on this, the shortest day of the year. This thrills me to bits! I'm feeling all peppy 'n' bouncy 'n' smilicious (yes, I like coining new terms, deal ;-) today. Still have much to do, so I'll get back to it now, but I wanted to stop and acknowledge the specialness of this day. Why/how is this day different from all other days? (Oh, wait...wrong holiday/tradition ;-)
Oh, if'n you wanna join in and help welcome and usher back the sun for some (say a half-year's worth ;-) of longer visits, feel free, wherever you happen to be, to join in on the Sing-A-Long of "Here Comes the Sun" at 6pm (PacTime) TONIGHT.
YouTube w/lyrics of "Here Comes the Sun" under the cut.
And here're just the LYRICS.
