Belated Solsticeness...New Beginnings

christophera_: The winter’s solstice is is a time of turning tides, for one earth cycle to end and another to begin. It a time for endings, but it is also a time for beginnings. It is a time for looking both forward and backward, and to look at other turns of the wheel for the direction our lives have gone. It is a time to bid a fond farewell to the paths not taken — and to do so without regret — before we look ahead to the future. It is a time for reflection and change. In the quiet stillness of this night, reach deep inside yourself and feel the pulse of darkness, of all that which has held you back. Now is the time to let it go and choose to be free. Look to the growing light, rejoice with its birth, and breathe the invigorating air of new opportunity.
He's articulated much of what I've felt I've needed to do right around now. Sage advice. Today was good, useful, productive, fun...a grand start to a new year. 2006 is for further adventures and playful eroticism (the latter yoinked fromgeoffcain).
Tonight's adventures may include a visit to Malediction for dancing and whatnot. Two ($2) buck beers & well drinks before 10:30pm. FREE admission before 10:30pm w/flier available at/from: http://www.maledictionsociety.com/society.php
Or not. Happy now w/kitties at home. Have much to do before I leave on my next set of adventures (Th to Carmel, Fri & Sat in SF, then perhaps Albany/Berkeley for another few daze, if'n I can find cat-care).
