Good Walkies & Talkies

Enjoyed lunch out w/one friend this afternoon and strolled the neighborhood w/another in search of chow this evening, choosing the Mexican food cart over on SE 50th just South of Division. Not quite 9pm and not quite dark out, but nearly. Noticed today s'more trees w/leaves turning colors. It's Summertime NOW so'm pleased to be around to take advantage of the long(ish) days and warmth and sunniness. Tomorrow's for more taking care of things 'n' stuff locally, which feels oh-so-good.

Here's how I spent my weekend: SloPoke Triathalon (3 days long version). I shall continue working to get and feel and be more fit, so I'll have the energy to do what I enjoy doing when I want to do it.

Continuing this theme, more hiking'll happen soon, as delerium3 & I are more than halfway through hiking all 80+ miles of trails in Forest Park to raise money for the Forest Park Conservancy. CLICKIE FOR PICKIES.

y'know, once I am in recovery from my surgery, I'll have a lot of time on my hands, as it were... maybe we could get together for walkies 'n suchlike.
