if it works, I suspect its going to be a very unpleasant medicine to take. Flu tends to infect the mucus linings, and when the body's own immune response begins to kill the cells infected, that's what causes the flu symptoms (mucus, swelling, etc). Mass apoptosis of infected cells is rather unpleasant as the body has to then clear out all the pieces of killed cells.
