Quiet World

Well, okay, not exactly quiet as fireworks've been going off sporadically all day/night long. But it's nice 'n' quiet enough in my corner of the world. Nicely so. Today's been mellow and fairly uneventful and quite pleasant and comfortable. I had some really good phone time today which brings a smile to my lips just thinking about. I do so like making and strengthening and affirming and confirming and increasing connections. These're a few of my fave things. :-)

Tired now. Got good stuff done today both around the house and in prep for the upcoming Lake Ozette canoodle (canoe campout w/delerium3, lightfoote, and wildwoosi plus Sol Duc Hot Spring visit afterward). Earlier I was starting to get my bounce on 'bout it, but now I'm feeling sleepy and'm happy enough w/a big ole grin on my face 'bout upcomings (near and further off).

Thinking 'bout what I want: a growing, strengthening, deepening mutual connection, sharing stories and experiences, widening horizons, increasing viewpoints, exchanging lenses and seeing the world through different windows and from other vantage points. What else I want: stimulation (of all senses...mebbe more appropriately: all types, 'cept the intellect ain't really a sense). And also: intimacy.

I'm happy w/how things're going. I'm content w/the way things're progressing. I'm bubbling a bit 'bout what life holds...and I'm ready for't, even though I don't really know how/where things'll go.

sounds delightful - huzzah for contentment!
(p.s. I always get a giggle when you use the word "canoodle", as I learned it as a word/euphemism for something rather different than a water-y camping trip)
