Pouring Good After Bad

Sometimes I wonder why I bother. Sometimes it's because I've started down a particular path and it seems easier to continue rather than shifting to another, 'specially if'n there's not another obvious right here 'n' now.

Right now outside it's lovely - Golden Hour w/great clouds. The wind's blowing and trees're swaying.

I'm bouncing even as I'm tired. I'm done even as I'm just getting going. Silence blows.

Intro'd the 'rents (Mom & J) to Dexter this evening. Not surprisingly, he preferred it over she, but they were both glad to've seen't.

O'morrow'll feature fetching the Amazing lightfoote aka ALF from Union Station (thx so much for the shuttle svc, wildwoosi aka WW, glad you enjoyed yr b-day dinner at Barking Frog this evening :-), hiking w/him 'n' 'rents, then fambily din-din. The 'rents leave on Saturday, while ALF & I continue our Hive date before heading Northward again on Sunday to meet up w/WW in Woodinville for a wedding and thence all returning to CopperMoon for a few days of we3ness up yonder.

The bizzy season's in full swing nowadays. Whee & zoom!

Hmmm, there's always Starbucks if we can snag the comfy chairs. Or we could hit Denny's...or sit in the bar at Sockeye's. That might be nice...we can sit and look at the water and chat and such. How about Sockeye's at 3pm in the bar?
