I can be one at times. Just as glad it's so in this case, actually.

Meanwhile, thanks to jnanacandra I've got a fab new silly icon which I don't wanna show kittenhead Havana as it used to be one of her fave tricks and methinks it's best if'n she's not reminded of't.

'Twas a lovely day today (haven't gone to sleep yet so it's still 21 March 2011 in/to my mind ;-) I wandered around my neighborhood w/delerium3 this afternoon and then hung out w/her & poeticlioness at the Hive in the evening. Spending the 4th anniversary of my moving to Portland and the Hive w/two of my fave local people was a sweet 'n' perfect way to celebrate. :-)

Well I for one am quite glad that you are here in Portland... Interesting article; I find that for myself, finding that balance between alone time and with-folks time is the challenge. Life often gives us an abundance of one or t'other, and it can be difficult to take time for solitude, or make time for being with folks.

Glad to see you had such a lovely time. I bet it's just beautiful down there these days. I swear, 10 more years and we're moving down there! Seattle just doesn't have nearly as many delicious places to nibble and chat and such. Anyway, congrats on your anniversary and hugs of happiness!

That sounds like a great plan. I'd love to go meet with her at some point while I'm visiting. Once I get some time with QLaw under my belt and I start approaching law school I'm really going to be doing some research interviews to get a sharper focus on where I want to make my biggest impact.

Actually, if your cat does pick up that trick again, the best way to beat it is to flip the roll so it feeds out from under. Works on toddlers, too :)

Heh, yup, I figured that out pretty quickly, actually, which is precisely why I've had my TP rolls feed out the bottom for the past nearly 15 years, much to the consternation of various visitors to the Hive (PacNW & Sta Monica previously) who consider this Just Wrong ('til I explain my reasoning).
