Wotta Weekend!

lightfoote trained down from Seattle in time for Jonathan Coulton at the Aladdin Theater. 'Twas a great fun silly show, made extra-fun by getting to spend time w/the Petting Zoo folks who I don't get to see nearly often enough.
Friday featured massive productivity w/an Attic Attack (culminating in a trip to GoodWill to discard many items and much stuff) balanced nicely w/Erbsensuppe cooking (darned numbly for the tumbly) and topped off w/an odd assortment of Jazz, Sex & War Cartoons over at the Clinton Street Theater and a delightful dessert visit to Sapphire Hotel (honey & black pepper ice cream for the YUM!)
On Saturday, we got to pop LJ-free A's light-rail and Lan Su Chinese Garden & Teahouse in the Tower of Cosmic Reflection cherries after successful completing (a) a good Powell's trip and (b) a great jacket shopping expedition and before an amazing evening at Al Polito's Puja of Longing. I'd never been to one before - or really anything like it. I hadn't known what to expect...and 'twas a really Really REALLY superlative experience.
Today's been mellow: sweet farewells w/lightfoote, fun trad'l Sunday brunch w/much laughter and many stories, brief visit w/LJ-less L who passed along 2 grocery bags of oranges she'd just recently picked from her backyard (in Phx, AZ), hanging out & brain-storming w/other Dear Friends, and now an evening w/a book and a bubbly-bath w/the prospect of an extended visit from another Dear Friend beginning o'morrow.
Satisfaction is a pleasant state...may it continue...
