I had a delightful Date w/lightfoote on Thursday. That night though, I had a hard time swallowing on one side and my throat was starting to get sore. Then my head went into full-time phlegm-production mode. Luckily I stocked up on Kleenex recently, as I'm going through it at alarming rates. It's a mellow weekend at the Hive featuring soup and napping and video-watching. Bleh.

Off in a bit to procure Sudafed. Yeah, it's another cross-border drug-run since OR considers Sud a Class-III narcotic (Rx-only) so we've gotta venture into WA to score a box of the Serious Stuff. (Luckily I had a small stash leftover from previous adventures in Headful o' Snot-land so managed to get a bit of sleep last night.)

I'm so done w/this now. Sadly, the Mucus-Monsters don't seem done w/me quite yet.

our house has the same thing. i think Judy got it from kissing other babies at the play center and then kissing mommy. The booger lipstick prolly didn't help.

Heh - ALF drove me to the 'Couve, WA this a.m., so I'm all set w/sud. I do have some Mucinex in the cupboard though...mebbe it's time to give it a go...

As a person who gets a lot of sinus infections, I find that putting a hot moist washcloth on my face really helps loosen things up so they can drain. I wonder if I sent you a package of Sudafed, if it would be confiscated...

Hee - sweet thought. I got 3 dozen l'il red pills from WA yesterday morning so'm set for now. I'll give the hot moist washcloth trick a try. Hot showers seem to help, as does using the syringe w/salt water & a few drops of Goldenseal to blast out my sinuses when I'm in the shower. This too shall pass...
