Being With the Feeling / Living In the Moment

Well, I certainly experienced both these today while visiting the dentist office. And in case I hadn't had enough this morning, fickle fate smiled at me and I ended up back again this afternoon for more. There's only so much drilling w/out anathesia (sp) up with which I will put. Eventually my tongue & cheeks will unnumb (again).

I am less than thrilled w/the day physically. Emotionally it's been a bit tough as well, although OKC is going better than expected so far (although I'm NOT raising my hopes particularly high, as getting 'em dashed to the ground would not help matters one iota).

Still, I'm feeling well enough to make it out tonight for Porn Shop!!!, part of Fertile Ground. The next week-and-a-half should be fun, following creativity around town and enjoying myself along the way. :-)

Thx - that's a great idea! Hot de-stress tea w/honey, likely w/a bubbly bath later. A biscuit sounds fab, but I'm sticking w/soft squishy foods for now, as 'twas a freakin' Pop Tart that I broke my temp crown on yesterday (WTF?!)

Feeling far better now actually, after a quite nice IM-session w/a delightful young woman I just met on OKC. We're getting together on Monday for a picnic and garden-visiting (Japanese, most likely). Whee!
