A Good Time

mlerulesSo, last Tuesday I zipped Northward to CopperMoon to start a good chunk o' together-time w/the Amazing ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lightfoote (ALF). Wednesday I had a lunch date w/a new friend. Thursday, ALF & I spent the afternoon (post-work) wandering Pike's Place in Seattle w/LJ-less J, then continuing the exploration of classic cocktail bars by enjoying drinks 'n' dinner at ZigZag, which was great fun. Murray, the bartender, even treated us to a Velvet Hammer before we left. And I got to taste Laphroaig ice cream - yum!
Luckily we'd sensibly made reservations at the Marqueen in Seattle, so we stayed up late(ish) talking, then got up early to zoom down to Portland, OR for our approx monthly weekend date. No rush hour and much good conversation made it a fine drive. 'Twas a very nice weekend together. ALF took the train back Northward this afternoon, and I'm sure that he andwildwoosi are having a fine time catching up after over a week apart (as she's been in FL for a fambily reunion thingie).
I'm enjoying a chilly blustery evening w/kittenhead Havana and a good book. Life's good. :-)
