Home again, happily ensconced at the Hive w/kittenhead Havana after a really nice long weekend in the Bay Area. I've only driven the 675 miles 'tween here and there once before (I cannot quite remember when in the past 3.5 years this was), so don't yet have a real good sense of how long it takes or where's best to stop along the way. (By contrast, I know the SoCal - Hive/Sidhehaven route & stops along the way quite well after several years of driving it several times a year.)

Still, I made it there and back again safely, lucking out massively w/the weather - avoiding snowstorms and chains req'd times, and having a really good time catching up w/friends and fambily, eating really well (two full Thanksgiving feasts), and enjoying another grand fun day at Dickens in SF w/Dear Friends.

Now I've got some time at home (mostly ;-) for a couple of weeks, 'til the traveling bug hits again and I head Northward for the Bone Poets Orchestra's CD release show for Belladonna Smiles at SoulFoods Book and again the following week to CopperMoon w/Dear Friends for Yule/x-mas celebrating.
