Apparently delerium3 and I once again find ourselves w/one (1) extra ticket for o'morrow's Hollywood Bowl shingdig. John Mauceri and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra take you on a journey to the cabarets and dance halls of the 1920s in sizzling Paris, smoldering Berlin, and hot, hot, hot Chicago. One of the greatest stars of the cabaret – the inimitable Joel Grey and the sultry Ute Lemper– sings songs from Chicago, Cabaret, and favorites by Kurt Weill, plus there’s a grand finale featuring the era’s most famous dance – the Charleston. I just need to see whether delerium3 found someone, but if'n not, you're our grand prize winner! Will advise ASAP. When do you get off work o'morrow? We could meet here - or in Westwood 'pending on timing - and shuttle out and back together, which is part of the fun.
