So, the past few years we3've tried to view the Perseids, w/out great success. This year, however, we made up for the past three (3). I don't have pics of the burning rocks, but they were FAB! And there're plenty of other pics from the weekend anyway:

Now (in <1/2 hour) I'm heading home to the Hive in Portland after a long weekend away. (Long weekend = past 2 weekends ;-) There's a heat-wave happening, so thank goodness for AC in the car. After being gone for the past four (4) long weekends - I've only slept at home eight (8) nights in the past month - I'm looking forward to the next three (3) weekends at home (or thereabouts...possibly w/a side-trip to Sidhehaven for FW10 Decompression next Sun ;-)

After that though (Sept 7-20, 2010), it's off Northward again to prep for and then go on the oft-awaited Oh, Canadia b-day trip w/
