And Now...The Weather

Got very little sleep last night (too hot - might melt ;-), but now that I've shifted the bedroom box fan to the living room, the air far nicer-feeling out here. The new twin-in-window fan from Freddy's ran all night. Not gonna button the house up as much today b'c I shan't be here and I wanna make sure the kittenheads get fresh air (even if hotter than blazes). For now it's still cool(ish - 66) outside, and not horrid in (73 - not bad, 'specially since yesterday morning it was 71 inside to start with).

Yesterday's outside high hit 95, inside 'twas 83 (but stayed below 80 'til late yesterday afternoon). It felt noticeably cooler inside and didn't start feeling hot 'til around 5pm, when the temps started falling outside and I opened all windows and started the fans ablowin' in the wind. Today's supposed to be even hotter, returning o'morrow to yesterday's not-quite-so-bloody hot, then mellowing to low-mid 80s for the rest of the weekend.

Okay, suddenly the prospect of spending several hours hurtling along the road today IN AN AIR-CONDITIONED VEHICLE doesn't sound so bad. Yay for Silver Linings! And Saturday'll be grand at CuMoon on Sat - forecasted high of 77 & clear. Yay for seeing sweeties again!

Leaving soon, returning Monday (most likely).

Had a similar experience round our way. Think we peaked up to 80ish inside the house though. Galileo only had one ball in the air. :-) Not looking forward to later today, but have mitigating plans. Our kittenheads seem to be doing reasonably well so far. Hopefully things will cool a little on Saturday.

Have fun and yay for sweet times with sweeties. I so get the joy of air conditioned vehicles, Self did not want to get off the bus yesterday, transit is mostly air conditioned...(ditto library, and grocery stores)
