Fading Outta Touch

mlerulesThis happens. Time passes. There're only so many hours in the day, only so much energy. It's why I cherish traditions that bring people together, to keep connections alive. I've faded away from folks before. And folks've faded outta my life, too.
I just found out that someone in the fambily (mom's side) died at the beginning of the month. I wish I'd known. It reminds me that I've not stayed as close/connected w/some people that I'd like to be in touch with. Yeah, it goes both ways, but I can certainly do my part.
