Sunshine Season

Well, unlike some friends, I DID remember sunscreen before heading out for a day in the sun today (SoCal RenFaire). My brand o' not remembering how to deal properly w/the season, however, involved not drinking nearly enough water for my first full day out in heat (and dust), thus leading to my spending a chunk o' the afternoon laying in the shade after drinking a large quantity of water (not too little then, but perhaps a tad too late).

'Twas SO nice to run into and chat/hang out w/some Dear Friends at Faire, even if'n I didn't get to visit as much as I would've liked. I DID though get to see a huge bird (Kingfisher?) way up in a pine tree. I got some good pics of such birdies later on, when there were four (4) of 'em hanging out at a picnic table near where we spent more time lounging on the grass in the oh-so-nice breeze that came on in the later afternoon, before getting on the road bound for AJ's.

Off to Alt-Faire o'morrow w/fambily and friends for a Mom's Day extravaganza! I shall hydrate properly. Soon, I shall sleep properly...

Thx for the heads up, but we leave for home o'morrow and b'c of car trouble ain't gonna be traveling anywhere today other than the auto mechanic and wherever my aunt needs/wants to go.

Yay for hydration! I think I made my seasonal shift from drinking tea to water this weekend. ;o)

I was wondering what happened to you. You said you were going to get water. We waited and waited and you never came back. :-(

I melted. It was So Very Nice to see you some. Wish'n 'twere for longer/more. Koroneborg was really quite nice - and a lot cooler and less crowded. Yesterday we dd stuff w/AJ as car trouble meant there wasn't an extra car so the option of heading out to visit folks went out the window.
