Ducks In Air & A SoCal Traffic Qx

I'm now getting around to finalizing various options for this upcoming long w'end (Wed - Tu) in SoCal. It's gonna be So Nice spending some time at the ocean/beach again. I plan on visiting some combo of Santa Monica/Venice/Malibu on Friday (1/8/10). Anyone wanna join me for lunch and/or beach walkies?

Also, I've been gone for over 2.5 years now, so'm outta touch, thus I must now ask the LazyWeb for suggestions as to what time I should leave Santa Monica in order to make it to Torrance by 7pm on a Friday. Thanks for tips/thoughts/suggestions!

I don't know about Torrance, because I've never been there, but I try never to drive out of the west side between 4:30pm and 7:00pm, if I can help it...and add an hour each direction if you're on the freeway. That's me though.

if you're around after 6;30pm on friday, or in the early-ish evening/late afternoon on Thursday I'll be off work and would love to go for a beach walk with you.

Neither of those work for me, sadly. I'll be heading down to Torrance Fri eve after day-time beach exploration and w/AJ on Wed & Th (and again Mon, when luckily we WILL get to hang out together @ H-ton Gardens).

You should be fine leaving the Santa Monica exit of the 405 no later than 6. I used to make the trafficy drive for my internship... it takes a half hour with no traffic, and about an hour and 10 minutes in traffic to get from Torrance to Westwood. Frustrating, but doable. Just like me. ;) I can't wait to see you!
