A Day to Treasure

mlerulesFriday was FAB! The dental stuff (serious cleaning - scaling & root planing) only took one hour, not two. Enjoyed Downtain Disney, D-land & CA Adventure very very much. Waited no more than 20 minutes for any ride (by refusing to get on any ride w/a longer line). The two (2) 20-minute waits were well worth it. 'Cept mebbe Splash Mountain at 11:30pm ain't quite so refreshing as mid-day when it's still hot out. Up (and around) on the Sun Wheel (big @ss ferris wheel in CA Adv) ended up as the PERFECT place from which to view the fireworks, with the timing working magnificently as they started just as we got on.
Next D&D date: Wed, August 17, 2005...unless I change it b'c I really do wanna work an Arcata trip in this summer and that week looks like the best possibility. Will post confirmed date when it's closer, if'n anybody wants to join in on the fun.
CA ADVENTURE:
Muppets - 3D
Tower of Terror (w/screamers)
Zephyr
Big Orange/Swings (x2)
California Screamin' (complete w/screaming) - quite possibly the BEST roller coaster I've been on
... may add more to list o'morrow when I check w/partner in crime
D-LAND:
Splash Mountain - sitting in the FRONT two seats: whoo-hoo! (more screamers)
Pooh's Acid Trip (w/gigglers)
Thunder Mountain (w/screamers)
Casey Jr.'s RR (no screamers)
My legs are now SORE (long beach walk yesterday after Curves plus much much walking 'round today...'cause we tried to get on far more rides than we went on so walked back and forth and around and around a lot). Planning to sleep in o'morrow...
