lightfoote to go backpacking this Thursday to see the tail end of the Perseids. Now though it looks like rain up on Mt Baker, where we'd hope to go. Other alternatives include car-camping and possibly even boat-camping in Eastern WA. Perhaps we'll finally make it out to SteamBoat Rock (now affectionately known as SteamPunk Rock after a sleep-dep/massively-addled statement way back when ;-) The upshot of all this is that I'm packing for several different possible adventures. Leaving o'morrow morning, returning sometime on Sat, b'c I wanna be in town for the Hawthorne Street Fair. ZOOM!
