Aligning Ducks

So, after numerous attempts to garner interest in having someone join me for an OSF outing, today I said "to heck with it." Now I'm set for Tu, 9/8/09 with a night at the Bard's Inn, Ashland, OR and a good ticket for the Scottish play on September 8, 2009. Whoo-hoo!

The last time I saw a production of TSP was mebbe five years ago, when the Troubies put on the incomparable and oh-so-much-fun Fleetwood MacBeth. Before that, I saw MacBeth at OSF on August 20 (19?), 1995, a matter of hours after my marriage ended. Earlier still (approx mid-80s or so) I saw a UCLA production that we walked out of part-way through.

Good day today w/Mom (and eventually J, when he ret'd from the quickie day-trip to Sacto). They'll leave o'morrow. I do so like many of my blood- (and pseudo-) relatives and miss spending more time w/them. At least I'll once again get to spend some time w/various rels around my b-day in the Bay Area this September, which'll be nice.

And now, to sleep...perchance to dream.

Yay for you. I keep wanting to go down with the alum group from my college. My Shakespeare professor from college and his wife both used to work at Ashland and their daughter was a stage director at one time.

One of these days. Maybe, if dillenger69 and I can't line our own ducks up for a BIG trip for our 20th, we'll do Ashland.

Well, by virtue of buying a single ticket, I've gotten on the OSF e-mail list and now have a chance to purchase tix for later this season at a discount (20-30% 'pending on when plus they waive the handling fee).
