Any Pirate Stuff Coming Up In July?

Needing to figure out whether to have pirate stuff available. Hmm, really, it seems quite possible, so I'll just err on the side of over-packing rather than not having stuff available.

Good fambily day today. Only 8 people here for lunch rather than 13, phew! O'morrow'll start w/Cuban b-fast @ Pambiche, then continue downdown for the Portland Farmer's Market and the Escher exhibit @ PAM, and more (TBD). *yawn*

EDIT: Or not (re: post-Pambiche plans). Stupid California and its melting-down economy means my mom's hubby's busy w/conference calls and last minute trips to Sacto (flying out o'morrow morning, returning o'morrow eve) doing union-type stuff. Still, today's given me time to start getting ducks in a row for my upcoming several weeks at CuM w/kittenheads grand adventure. *breathe*

We WILL head out to eat happy hour dinner @ Sapphire Hotel and go walkies down Hawthorne and through/around my local neighborhood in a bit.

off topic, but was wondering if you had any leads for companies/orgs/nonprofits hiring in PDX. I have an extensive resume in the communications/PR/admin field.

Not off-hand. I really seem to be gone a whole lot, as I'm dating folks 4 hours NE (who're now trying to move closer to PDX, thankfully). If'n I hear of something, I shall certainly send info along to you. It'll be easier once you're here to chat w/folks and see what happens (which, I know, doesn't make it very easy as it's nicer having something lined up before descending).

Hmm, there's a cluster of non-profits a half-block away, but I cannot recall what they do and'm clue-free re: hiring status. If'n I spot one of the folks (who I know vaguely from walking by and saying Hi and chatting, like folks do), I'll ask. :-)

Hey, madcap scheme just popped into my noggin: wanna head down to the Hive this w'end - all of you? The 'rents're leaving on Friday and I'm not leaving 'til Tuesday. It's massively insane...and could be wonderful! I'll totally understand if'n it's too last-minute and/or too much, but I'm just tossing it out on the off-chance that my insanity matches yours at the moment. Hee! (Plus I miss you, ya' know.)

Having sadness our weekend is already full as your madcap scheme sounds marvelous; we're so craving a PDX fix. Hopefully sometime soonest, most likely after we have moved and regained desired employment status. ;o)
