Rounding Out the Weekend

Finally made it out to Dante's Sinferno, a glorious combo of burlesque & fire eating/breathing/spinning each Sunday night in downtown Portland. WOW. You were right, elainiac - 'twas grand fun! We got there just before the main fun began (having opted to skip the opening act) and managed to score a table at the very front, matching my primo parking spot right around the corner quite nicely.

Now my ears're ringing from loud music and I reek of smoke from walking the gauntlet of smokers on the sidewalk walking back to my car. Next up: shower. And then: sleep beckons...although I'm still pretty pumped full o' adrenalin from a great show/weekend.

I've KNOWN 'bout it for several years (since before moving here), but for one reason or 'nother just hadn't made it out before. This weekend, though, it served as the perfect closer. :-)
