I've started/reactivated a process. I'm finding it annoying. I'm trying to decide whether to pursue it. Once upon a time I enjoyed doing this sort of thing a lot more than now. I can enjoy making bureaucracy work for me. Do I want to do so now/in this way? Is it the best solution? Do I want to dig in my heels or head in another direction? Better the devil you know? Dunno.

Very cryptic. Very mysterious...

um...what's the benifit of this process again? Annoyed isn't usually something one chooses to be.

Well, yeah, that's what I'm trying to figure out: whether the annoyance factor'd be outweighed by the potential goodness (keeping teaching option open).

I'm glad you enjoy making bureaucracy work for you, awesome skill to have and even better if you enjoy it. I do not. Jumping hoops, not my favorite.

So not so much a thing you enjoy, as a thing you're good at?

Ah, very good way to put it. You do use your words well. Yes. Indeed. Sometimes I do gain pleasure/enjoyment from it as well, but not always...and even then usually AFTER the fact more than beforehand/during the process.
