mlerulesThe House Cerulians who came down to visit PDX this past weekend and I kept passing by my local Ben & Jerry's and seeing this sign and smiling, so I figured others might be interested as well:
Ben & Jerry's - Tu, 4/21/09 - Noon - 8pm
For some reason I hadn't gotten the memo 'bout it being Pirate Day here yesterday. Pirates were arghing up and down Belmont and Hawthorne and enjoying the delightful sunny upper 70s/low 80s day. Even having farmed out most of my pirate garb to friends for another occasion, we cobbled stuff together and looked fine in our finery. The finery was increased pleasantly by visits to Savvy Plus and Sock Dreams. I opted for much needed sleep of much sleepiness Sat night whilst they enjoyed more Catherynne M. Valente & Palimpsest & Sooj & Betsy goodness. Joined up w/S & K & B for Cricketing mid-day Sunday. Found masks. Shopped Saturday Market. Enjoyed sweetness at Pix. Reconnected. Good weekend.
