Heater Nonsense

My wall heater (for which I have no manual) has lots of complicated features. Somewhere along the line recently-ish it seems to have decided that it needs to heat up a lot in the wee hours. It's not clear how to tell it NO, that's really when you can be on Way Low, b'c I'm bundled up under quilts and kittenheads. Just fumbled around in the mostly dark (w/flashlight in hand), although LJ-free L seemed to have slept through the intrusion just fine - she's on the couch after being up for 30+ hours (int'l travel can fark w/sleep patterns/schedules). Not sure if'n I've solved the problem, but at least it's not blasting hot air right now. Now to catch a few more winks before starting another glorious day...

Is there a brand and/or model number evident on the outside? Many manuals can now be found via the Google.
