Thankfulnesses:

- for loves willing and able to shuttle me to 'n' from the airport to make flying in 'n' out easier (luckily I remembered yesterday that I had some airfare credit to use or lose in the next month(ish) so I'll fly up to(wards) CopperMoon (and back) this (long) w'end rather than driving in the snow)

- for having acquired a decent cold-weather wardrobe from visiting Big Bear several times a year the past however many years, b'c I'm gonna be using it this week/season

- for snow, glorious snow (w/out needing to commute in't)

- for time, space, love, and good friends (all of which I need and desire and get/have and appreciate oh-so-much)

Clickie for Pickies of Snow Today's forecast high = 27. It's lovely and sunny and cold and snowy out. I'm gonna bundle up and go walkies and take more pics later on today.

*grins*... I'm currently trying to persuade myself that I -really do- want to go out and do the errands I've got scheduled for today... oh but the house is so nice & warm... and it looks so cold outside...

How nice for you that you can make that transition. Enjoy all the snow and in fact maybe we can send you some from eastern Canada. :)

Do - it's nice to enjoy regional flakes. ;-) My only time in Eastern Canada has been visiting Cape Breton then driving from there down to Boston thence across the U.S. in the summertime. Absolutely beautiful, but NOT where I'd like to be right now (or anytime during the next several months).

Ha ha as much as I love Cape Breton I wouldn't to be there either right now. I live about 3 hours drive from Toronto but on the Quebec side. Tons of snow. Hope you travelled the Cabot Trail in CB - it's enchanting.

Yes, my step-mom (who's been going there semi-regularly for over 60 years) took me out and about the Cabot Trail several years back...'twas amazingly lovely. Sadly, no digital photos to share as what I took was with (gasp) real film.

I'll post a few on my LJ sometime for you as I was just there last summer. Wow your step-mom must really love it. I've never been to the PacNW area - sounds nice.
