The Hive's attic now contains two (2) Q-sized inflatable beds & a single twin, all made up and ready for sleeping. Assuming 2 per 2-person bed and a body on the couch, the Hive can now sleep 10. And there's room for more on the floor. Whoo-hoo!

Qx for the SoCal food-crew: when (and WHY) did Killer Shrimp in L.A. close? 'Twas mega-bummed to hear today from hiddentass that it's no more.

EDIT: Seems like it closed several months back, although I still have no idea WHY...and'm still bummed. Still, at least hiddentass found this recipe which I need to try. Acolyte o' Delight, take note...

Oooo if I just substitute Veggie broth for the chicken broth.. oh that looks yummy.. sounds like it would taste like the wonderful shrimp soup I used to get in Reno (wish I could remember the name of the place)

Woohoo! I may do a PacNW road trip. While I appreciate being able to stay in your house, itt would be nice to get to see *you* for more than 5 minutes between both of us zooming :)
