Quick Catch Up

mlerulesAlongside mundane matters (bills, laundry, dealing w/coming home after nearly a month away, &c.), I'm spending this week catching up w/friends, visiting IKEA, watching movies (Get Smart - guffaw-inducing and certainly worth the $2 it cost at a local 2nd run playhouse w/2 for 1 Tuesdays), spontaneous jaunts to the Columbia River Gorge for the enjoyment of views, strong warm winds, walkies, waterfalls, the start of fall colors, early dinner at the Edgefield, and the exciting discovery that the fab group Brothers of the Baladi'll play a FREE show at the Edgefield at 7pm on Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Whoo-hoo! I haven't seen 'em since...well, it's been many years since I saw 'em play in SLO back when my usual routes included the Central Coast of California. Once I shift some of my pics from my laptop to the portable hard drive I'll download the newest from my camera and post some of 'em. Okay, I'm off to get on w/the day now. *hugs* to those who want 'em.
