Honest Sweat

deang move. It was HOT today in Newhall and Studio City and all points in between. Luckily we managed to work miracles and stuff the entertainment center into my car and the futon frame into the pickup w/out having to break either of 'em down, which made for much easier hauling (heavier but fewer bits & trips). Had to take apart one of the six-foot bookcases but that's okay as the destination's not empty yet so 'twas easier to put in the one and just pile the bits of the other against the wall. Also spent time rearranging furniture to acheive that good balance of low sound levels from the outside w/good set up for watching movies in bed w/good sound.
Many thx to Lisa (too tired to look up LJ name) for reminding me to defrost the steak and then seasoning it and slapping it on the grill for us this evening. 'Twas massively appreciated!
Came home and found two (2) delightful e-mails from a couple of my fave [ep[;e (that's "people" with my fingers on the wrong keys). Next w'end's gonna be grand fun. And...something else. Thinking of possibilities...unlikely, but fun to imagine anyway.
