The day after Solstice (and the parade and street fair out in Fremont/Seattle and a visit to Seattle's sculpture garden where we learned that BIG=ART), we opted for a dose of Nature. 'Twas a lovely drive up to Deception Pass where we enjoyed a delightful day of perfect weather. We picnicked, frisbee'd, bubbled, lazed on the beach, beachcombed, walked, saw bald eagles, and just had a ole fine time. Then we fruitlessly (mostly, 'cept for a few vertebrae and some toe bones) dug for llama. Anyway, I'm nearly caught up w/my pics from the summer. It's been a busy one so far w/more to come...

Mebbe I haven't said it recently, but I'm thoroughly enjoying sharing the wonders and joys of WA and life w/[livejournal.com profile] lightfoote and [livejournal.com profile] wildwoosi and feel incredibly lucky and privileged to have each and both of them in and sharing in my life.

Deception Pass is one of my most favorite Washington destinations; there's a beach there I can wonder in the water for hours combing through rocks.
