lightfoote from work, we drove up towards the Mountain Loop Hwy to check out the Monte Cristo Trail. Apparently November before last had a bit of nasty weather which farked up the trail massively. We only wandered out about a mile, encountering some impressive landslides (only cleared 1.5 weeks ago), SNOW!, the river w/not so useful bridges now that the river's shifted, and some lovely views. 'Nother time I'm looking forward to going all the way to the end of the trail 'n' back. Clickie for Pickies
