Just looked ahead. I've got three (3) down days in June (the 2nd, 3rd, 11th), otherwise June's gonna make May look mellow. Must breathe, must take ME breaks as needed. It's gonna be danged fun, but damn...ZOOM! I'm dedicating the first week and a half of July to recovery (okay, also to taking care of stuff that I'll have ignored during the busyness that's June) before heading out to Vegas for wedding wonderousness. Today's a supposed "down day" for relaxing/recovering, but I've got a written-out list of ToDos and a far longer mental list that's starting to gnaw at my brain. Gonna do lots of laundry and take care of various things 'round here, but'll also veg w/a good book and hopefully also go walkies later to clear my mind and soul.

Yesterday I got to hang out w/LJ-free R (who was down from WA) all afternoon and into the evening, engaging in really good conversation and giving me some of just what I needed, not that I could articulate it, although I'll try: companionship, intellectual stimulation, good thinkie-thoughts and food for thought, quite an engaging time. I like making friends and deepening f-ships. He also worked his Mac-Magic so the 'puter upstairs in the office is working again. HUZZAH! Gonna back up a mess of stuff today so I don't lose it (potentially) again.

Hey, May's still here and the burlesque-themed masturbate-a-thon this Sat night around the corner from mi casa should prove quite...interesting (to say the least)! Only one (1) more sleep 'til loves lightfoote and wildwoosi join me for a delightful w'end...the blisstacy continues.

Yay - so glad you'll be there, too! Yeah, my initial attraction was just The Wet Spots, who I've loved ever since sidhefire turned me onto them a while back, but it looks like it's gonna be grand fun overall even beyond the music! Oh, what'll you be wearing?

I'm not quite sure yet. I know it is $5 off if I'm in burlesque, but I'm not quite sure how to take that. Perhaps top hat, tux jacket and bow-tie with no shirt or pants under? I've also got this neat shirt that is just a mesh of red strings. It'll be good to talk to you too about what should be worn for the evening at the Grind. Guess my tux jacket outfit is out for there since it is black...

Yes! When'll you folks be where? On Th, 6/12 I'm gonna likely end up half-way 'tween Seattle and Portland that eve, but'll be an hour from Seattle to start with. On Sun, 6/15 I'll be in Portland w/<lj user="lightfoote"? and it'd be swell to see you folks that afternoon or evening. Or mebbe b-fast on Mon, 6/16 in Portland. Hope to hook up w/you when you're up here!
