At rush hour, is it better to travel from the airport (PDX) to Salem via hwy 5 or hwy 205? I know both will suck mightily, but wonder which'll suck less. Also, how early or late must one travel for it to make an appreciable difference (in other words, how can I avoid rush hour altogether)?

how you maintain this level of energy all year and stay so happy and sane I will never understand. *bows* I can't wait to see you! Only a week and a half! Wow...I need to get my act together! I still don't know where I'm staying when in NY! ACK! At least I don't have to worry about the week with you or the week in TX *shudder*. Those times take care of themselves...I just need to get a handle on the last part of my trip. Much love and glee at the prospect of seeing you again!

Well, I don't maintain it all year. I have down time, too. Part of the time w/you will be down time in fact - glorious time spent sipping cold or hot beverages and enjoying trees, flowing water, birds, llamas, puppies, whatever strikes our fancy, as well as good food and theater. Squeeful at the prospect of getting to hang out w/you soon!

I'm not sure about the kayak testing, I might be keeping Wed/Thurs for date night, meaning I'll be working on the weekends, but if I'm not at the nursery I might be able to go. Don't know yet.

It is a good possibility. They told me to call them when I'm better, as they tend to need more people because of busy, or people quitting/being fired. They said they loved my resume and like me on the phone. Now to just get well.
