So, apparently being sick and having one's usual filters replaced by green goo works interestingly on the thought and communication processes. Or something. Anyway, feeling a need or at least an urge to spew forth some thoughts on the nature of my reality.

Various folks're recording their impressions of "WTF - Snow - Now?" in LJ. I, meanwhile, find myself creating my subjective reality based on my (limited) experience in the PacNW. So the fact that the past few days have included attempts at snow (and actual real-live snowflakes falling in farther North climes, as in: in WA - wait, I just talked w/a friend and it's been snowing here in Portland today, too!) and several hailstorms interspersed w/lovely sunniness and blue skies dotted w/fluffy clouds, to my mind a typical late March PacNW day includes the distinct possibility of schitzo weather ranging from ice and/or snow falling to sunbursts of loveliness. It'll be dark and gloomy and wet for several hours than lighten up considerably for a while before hailing like mad. I LOVE IT ALL!

Okay. I've shot my wad for now. Now back to updating the address book, enjoying dragonrider tales, sipping tea, and recovering...

I love it.... I grew up in Schitzoid weather...just across the border in surry. I remember walking to school one day in this rather beautiful sunny morning. I came to my first intersection where I could turn down to pick up my girlfriend on the way, and it was raining. Now under normal circumstances that wouldnt be wird, but...it was raining right down the middle of the street....only half the street was wet even. Even for a wierd as Surry is, that took the cake that day.

today was a blast....Winter wonderland up in the hills of Bellevue, nasty rain all the way back....lol in my little car caught between an 18 wheeler and some other big monster on the 405. To fluffy flakes of snow as I got closer to home...

What a blast, and the day only got better...finished work got home. Ate yummy burgers and milk shakes and then went to see Trestle, kk...my tummy and my face and my head hurts.... I laughed so hard I think I broke something

I hope that your feeling better....I just kinda had to share that little weather tidbit.. ohhhh and the Pattern arrived and as soon as my weekend goes away I will be checkin it out.

hugs and kisses

me

Great weather story - thx for sharing. Yay for pattern's arrival - cool! Hope the concert o'morrow night (oh, I guess that'd be later tonight ;-) goes well. I'm staying home to get all better so as to handle the house-guest influx (step-sis left this afternoon after being here since Tu, another couple arrive later tonight, still more come on Sunday with another batch arriving on Wed)...and then I leave town for several days...WHEW)!

See ya' next Fri!

Hugs & Smooches,
MLE

I've always heard that if you don't like the weather in Washington, just wait 15 minutes; so I guess that would mean our weather is really schizo all the time. :o)
