Wet Spots in PDX - Sat, 5/31/08

Well, THIS certainly looks...interesting. It's a <5 minute walk from mi casa though, so it might be worth checking out. For some reason this doesn't yet appear on the Wet Spots' upcoming show list.

Meanwhile, I'm on the road to recovery but'm still gonna take it easy the next couple of days to make sure I get well.

I almost clicked on it then I read the link URL. Not sure I should try to view that at work (I doubt I could connect) but the URL is surely intriguing. I'll have to check that out at home . . .

It has been several years since I've been to a masturbate-a-thon, but I was thinking that it'd be well worth going just to see the Wet Spots in person. Knowing that you're considering going too adds to the fun of being there. These events are certainly more fun the more folk that you know there. Darklady's events can be quite fun, but they can also not be worth the bother. If you think of it as a randomly wacky party with different sorts of sights that you're not used to seeing and some decidedly oscillatory flow and connections with folks (In 15 minutes of the party I'll have encounters where I say "great folks to hang with!" to "egads, you're pretty freaking scary" to "hunh, that's interesting to watch, perhaps I'll have to experiment with that some day".)
