Utah w/lightfoote

Stolen shamelessly from lightfoote's LJ post, with great thankfulness that he's culled down our nearly 700 photos to a more manageable selection. Mebbe I'll post a set myself in a while, but for now you can enjoy our adventures vicariously here:

Friday - drive from Las Vegas to Zion Natl Park, get in a sunset hike (Watchman trail)
Saturday - hike Emerald Pools trail and Canyon Overlook where I manifest a desire to see desert bighorn sheep
Sunday - drive to Bryce Canyon Natl Park - hike Queen's Garden/Navajo Loop (Wall Street)
Monday - the big hike/CLIMB of Angel's Tower
Tuesday - drive back to Vegas, fly home

Yay! You guys look so happy. At first it was weird seeing you in coats, because when I was at Arches two summers ago it was 115. And then I saw the snow and remembered it is winter.

Hmm, perhaps then you have some tips/suggestions/secrets to pass along re: Escalante and/or Capitol Reef, as my 'rents're heading out there next week for Spring Break.
