Food & Sunshine Matter Muchly
Jan. 22nd, 2008 01:06 pmDoing what I've been meaning and wanting and needing to do: Stay At Home S'more. (Don't get me wrong - I've had truly marvelous times elsewhere, even at Home elsewhere, but now it's time for Here.) When I yawned and stretched and keened and started moving about this morning (very slowly, fairly late), I took a gander at my GooCal and started feeling a bit overwhelmed. Then I opened all the curtains - letting in the sunshine - cooked and ate breakfast, and felt (and still feel) oh so much better.
It's bright and sunny out and I'm going walkies this afternoon. No driving today. None. Gonna take a mini ramble, return a library book, prolly check another one out. Gonna do laundry and plan menus and write shopping lists and mebbe walk down to Freddies 'n' get what I need that's not too heavy. Gonna enjoy yet another lovely day here in my hometown. Gonna really enjoy being here in town for NINE (9) solid days (starting this Friday), which may well extend to 15 or (gasp) even 22 straight days at home in Portland. Been meaning to do this for a while now...and now I'm making it so. Yay, me.
