X-mas Is...

...much laughter and merriment - Mom 'n' J LOVED the Gnoam that I bought and delerium3 painted and we both gave 'em; Mom, an uncloseted Luddite, insists on calling their new Bose Wave Music System "the new boom box;" l'il bro Gideon finally finds a way of having more presents under the tree than me (my stash's usually larger simply b'c I've got more fambily - it's complicated - thus more gits) by the simple means of saving up most of the ones he got from Mom & J last year (when he didn't join us 'cause he was working on finishing up the album on tight deadline) and bringing 'em along (still wrapped) this year...amusing as one of 'em was indeed (as I'd predicted) a 2007 calendar (oops!); the realization that a marzipan pig serves as the new lump of coal - Mom remembered that Gid either liked marzipan or didn't (a 50/50 chance)...luckily he's now dating a woman who likes it so all's well that ends well.

Okay, must run as the take-out Chinese food's ready and we've got Rattatoule (sp) to watch afterwards....

EDIT: The movie-watching's been postponed as I fell into a food-coma after eating and needed immediate napping.

Feeling far better, but not really well. Gonna do little other than nap o'morrow pre-feasting, then more relaxation on Th, 12/27/07 'til I fly back home again, assuming the iRobot Roombah even FITS in my luggage...

You will enjoy "Ratatouille" if you haven't seen it yet. Peter O'Toole is absolutely killer as the critic.

I have Chinese food envy; we couldn't find a restaurant opened here so we had to settle on cooking what we had intended. We watched 'Ratatouille' last night; you'll like it. :o)
