Happy Thanksgiving, All

I'm thankful to have great friends and fambily, a lovely place to live in the PacNW, several invites to various homes (close & far) for T-giving dinner/supper today - even though I've had to decline 'em all, sufficient financial means to enjoy life properly, and a lovely day to enjoy from my couch/bed (cold, windy, sunny, and bright). Back to Saltines and mint tea now. Thankfully I will get/feel better, hopefully sooner rather than later.

I have been fighting an UberBug since I got back from Nashville. Everyone on the plane from work has this bug. I went to the MD yesterday who said I absolutely had to stay home. I have been working from the laptop with the other MENTALLY ill people in the State of WA who are online working when they should be with their friends & family.

Gratitude is a good thing. It is something I try to cultivate in my life everyday but it is great that we have a day set aside for it. I love this time of year.

Happy Turkey Day. I am so glad you're still able to 'be' thankful while feeling yucky and missing festivities. I hope you feel better soon. *gentle hugs*
