Okay, I'll bare my corrupted music soul, too. I actually like Justin Timberlake's "Sexy Back" *sob*

If you can admit it, I can to. That's one of the nice things about the Ipod, no one knows what I am listening to. :-)

That's okay... when no one is around, I listen to all KINDS of things I'd be too embarassed to admit to. O:)

Well lets see, in my tiny CD collection (cause I haven't bought any in yeeears) are the following totally mis-matched works: Uncle Bonsai, The Eels, Madonna's Evita, Bette Midler ("bathhouse betty". It kicks ass!), The Lion King (both versions, broadway and movie)... a lot of kids type disney-ish stuff, conflicting with fairly old but still 'cool' in some circles, some alternative, and a good instrumental selection. :P

I don't own the awesome new stuff, like Sooj or the like, or any newer movie tracks, because we haven't bought music in forever. :P don't own any MP3 devices either. :P

See? I'm a freak. ;) A kid's CD by 'they might be giants' is the newest buy, and that was like... two years ago.

Would that be Bed, Bed, Bed w/the CD at the end of the kid's book? I got that one a while back myself.

I don't own any MP3 devices either. Well, there's my laptop, but I don't burn stuff as MP3s and've never bought anything from iTunes or otherwise on-line. Oh. Oops. Just remember someone gave me an iPod Shuffle as a going away present (I moved here last March) but it's still in its box, unopened and forgotten 'til now. Hmm. Mebbe I should do something 'bout that...

Sooj kicks sweet butt. I've got some of her stuff on CD.

Ooh, I didn't know they made more than one- ours is "No!" or the Land of No, or something to that effect... it's pretty fun stuff. :) They might be giants is great stuff. :) I have a fair amount of Oingo Boingo too, but that's dating myself. ;)

I saw They Might Be Giants play a free show at Rhino Records (in LA) a bunch of years back (dating myself now, too). Oingo Boingo ROX! Saw them at one of their numerous "Final Tour" shows about ten (10) years ago...a friend saw 'em a week or two ago in L.A. so I haven't given up hope that I'll see 'em again.

So, if'n you don't mind revealing this much: what was the 1st concert you ever went to? (Mine was Pearl Harbor & The Explosions opening for The Tom Robinson Band at the Zellerbach Auditorium at Berkeley nearly 30 years ago.)

Oh my. Huey Louis and the News, I think, in someplace south of L.A. that started with a C... I barely remember. (chuckles) I was just... 15ish? I remember there was SO much pot smoking in the spot we were in, I was pretty much high, even tho I don't recall smoking any myself... (chuckles) My brother bought the tickets and grew his own pot, so I blame him. ;) I was never much of a concert type. :P
