So, I had this whole post in mind about balancing frustration and joy, about how wonderful today was and how it could've been even better, about sharing great music - which unfortunately I couldn't sing along with, about bits and pieces of really fab conversation - which I couldn't really get involved in b'c I can't yet talk again 'til my throat recovers from this cold, about the sensation of a bright shiny sunny day with rain pouring down at the same time and a full rainbow low on the horizon and how the colors in the trees on the hills have shifted in just 24 hours and how cool 'twas to be driving along w/the wind blowing and yellow big leaf maple leaves swirling through the lanes of traffic - a great blustery day, about how I got to enjoy

ferociousbcycad at b-fast, and so much more, but instead I'm going to take a hot bath, complete the process of replacing all my bodily fluids with hot tea, continue wearing my PJs (I never got dressed today), and sleep for hours and hours and hours.
