...Out of My Head...
Sep. 27th, 2007 10:59 pmSo, as late as 8:30pm this eve I was still contemplating hitting the Grind, in large part b'c I was at that point just a couple of miles away, having dinner in BellTown (as I believe the area's called). Then, in the <5 minute walk back to the car, it hit me. IT = exhaustion and realization that that (that = going Grinding) would be STUPID since I (a) have no energy to dance, (b) cannot really talk to anyone (throat's not cooperating well and the noise level there's pretty high), (c) cannot hug anyone (I've still got a cold and while hopefully not still contagious don't want to risk it), (d) b'c of (c) anything more's outta the question. Then, whilst driving down to Tacoma (where I'm now at - gah, it hurts to phrase it that way), I realized that my mood was shifting whilst listening to the radio...something a bit different every 2min50sec. Not so good when the music was mostly 60's and 70's R&B (in other words, r-ships gone sour). What I need now: more hot tea (floating today) and SLEEEEEEP. Next up: a return to Seattle and then driving back to Portland. Yes, tradition dictates that I head North before heading South. Gee, I think I'll head back up North again in another couple of days, just to keep tradition alive. What else I need (and another signifier that I'm outta my head): to break this down into paragraphs and/or LJ-cut this puppy. But I shan't, 'cause I'm tired. And/or lazy. Not a complete sentence either. I still think it'd be amusing to start a cafe called Where It's At so folks could ask "where's 'Where It's At' at." Ha, I just ended a sentence with a preposition. Writhe, editors, writhe! b'bye now... *crash/goboom*
