Up Late, Up Early

Not ideal. Meanwhile, my plans to sleep in this morning have been thwarted mightily. The house next door needs a new paint job. The day before yesterday (when I was out w/fambily all day) they power washed it quite noisily, according to my friend L who's staying w/me while her house is getting ready for move-in. Yesterday it rained, so nothing happened. Or if it did, we were gone from approx 11am 'til after 9pm, running errands, shopping for household stuff, looking at paint colors, &c. so heard nada. Today at 8am the power sanders began. It's gonna take quite some time/work. The noise ain't quite so horrid w/the windows closed. Earplugs're in. Eye-flaps're on. Kitties're snuggling close, uncertain and unhappy w/whassup. Will try for more shut-eye. *yawn*
