When I Slow Down...
Aug. 17th, 2007 10:37 am...I tend to stop. Not always easy to get going again. I hear voices (not necessarily from within, or rather, not necessarily from my brain directly, as so much is filtered by expectations from within and from outside) saying "maybe it's what you need." (IT = rest/slow down period) But I really don't know what I need. Okay. I have some ideas of what I need. I've got some thoughts of how to go about accomplishing these goals. Motivation's low. Need to light a match, flip an ignition switch...but first mustn't I pile up the brush and lay the fire so something'll burn once it starts?
Is it more appropriate to think of it as a fuse and explosion or a slow steady burn?
Mebbe I need to calm s'more before the storm of activity kicks in yet again. And so it goes...
